PACKING REMINDERS:
• Limit luggage to one suitcase and one carry on bag.
• Go online to check the weather forecast before packing. Encourage people to pack rain gear and dress in layers as the forecast often changes.
• Pack comfortable shoes for walking and touring in the daytime.
• Remind students to leave all valuables at home.
• About $100-$150 is enough spending money to cover any meals not included in the tour package plus a little spending money.
• It is customary to collect about $2.00 per person/ per day to show your appreciation to your tour guide and about $1.00 per person/ per day for your bus driver.
• Any checked baggage fees are not part of the tour package and must be paid to airline at check-in.

TRAVEL DAY REMINDERS – GROUPS THAT ARE FLYING:
• Remember that checked baggage fees (where applicable) are not part of the tour package and must be paid upon airport check in. Carry on bags are always free.
• Bring your e-ticket confirmations; these will be sent to you about two weeks before your trip.
• We suggest you arrive at the airport 1.5 – 2 hours before departure. Adults are required to have government issued photo ID (i.e. driver’s license or passport). Students may bring school ID or a copy of a birth certificate.
• Your tour guide will meet your group at baggage claim.
• If your flight is delayed by an hour or more, please call our office (1-800-631-2241) so we make any necessary adjustments.

TRAVEL DAY REMINDERS – GROUPS TRAVELING BY BUS:
• Your bus comes equipped with a DVD player and monitors. Bring along a few family friendly movies to help pass the time.
• Feel free to stop periodically along the interstate for snacks or to stretch your legs. It is built into your drive time.
• If you are traveling with more than one bus, please have the students who are rooming together ride on the same bus…this will expedite hotel check in.
• While traveling, if you find you will be early or late by more than one hour, please call our office (1-800-631-2241) so we make any necessary adjustments.
